Green Olives are not only very good for our health but also very delicious to eat. I thought of making something different and ended up making a spicy green olive pickle in Indian way.
Ingredients:-
Pitted green olives in brine(cut into two ore pieces) – 1 small bottle
Garlic(chopped) – 10
Red chili powder-1 tbspn
Fenugreek powder-1 tspn
Asafoetida powder / Hing- 1/2 tspn
Curry leaves – 1 bunch
Salt to taste
Sesame oil/Cocunut oil/Oil of your choice
Preparation Method :-
Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add curry leaves and garlic and fry lightly.
Then add red chili powder, fenugreek powder, hing and stir for a second on low heat.
Add green olives and mix well. Add salt as per your taste.
For better taste store it in a air tight jar and use after 24 hours.
